PREDICTIVE DEMISTING APPARATUS AND PROCEDURE
Description
The most common procedure for removing fogging from surfaces currently uses thermal resistors attached to the object; for example: heated rear windows or mirrors in cars or anti-fog mirrors in bathrooms. The energy cost of the process is high and slow, since energy must be supplied to the object in its volume first (energy losses), until the drops on its surface acquire enough energy to vaporize.
Thus, in the present invention, an apparatus and a predictive anti-fog procedure is presented that anticipates the action of mechanisms that locally lower the dew temperature around surfaces exposed to exterior or interior environments in which condensation must be avoided, starting with of the knowledge of the dew temperature of the air and the temperature of the object and acting through two actions: the decrease in the relative humidity of the air that surrounds the object and the increase in the temperature of the surface of the same (not the volume).
Advantages
The main advantage of the present invention is that it is a new anticipatory or predictive method that acts before fogging occurs, also reducing the energy required to prevent the formation of fog, both in outdoor and indoor environments.
Uses and Applications
This technology is useful for the specific control of condensation, applicable to the treatment of exterior or interior surfaces exposed to humid air in which condensation must be prevented before it appears (e.g .: viewers of surveillance cameras, ducts and walls of rooms with air conditioning, glass or windows in cars, etc.)
