ASSISTED DRIVING DEVICE
Description
The present invention relates to an assisted driving device, and more specifically to a new human-machine interface to facilitate the driving of motor-powered vehicles such as wheelchairs, electric cars, etc. Thus, this device is intended to help people who, due to their advanced age or illness, must use a wheelchair, or those who, without suffering any type of physical disability, are obliged to handle these chairs very regularly. as assistants to disabled people. On the other hand, it also constitutes a help for all those people who, due to their age or physical condition, are forced to drive any type of vehicle, such as a shopping cart or similar.
Advantages
Among the main advantages of the present invention, we highlight: • Driving the vehicle is done naturally, as it would be without the device but with much less effort, therefore the degree of usability is very high. • The handle or handlebar of the vehicle in which the device of the invention is installed does not have to move or transmit any effort to another point where sensors are placed, therefore the design is simpler. • The device detects in real time and at all times whether or not there is contact with the user, which is very useful for stopping and locking the vehicle, saving energy and reducing wear on the locking elements. • The touch sensor has the advantage of being able to be used as an interface or information panel.
Uses and Applications
