VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE APPLIED TO FRUIT TREES
Description
Most of the devices currently used for the vibration of fruit trees lack sensors to obtain information that allows knowing the state of the tree in real time during the application of vibration. For this reason, in most cases the frequency and intensity of the applied vibration is controlled in a completely subjective and empirical way by an operator.
As a consequence, sometimes the vibrations applied can damage the tree, for example the roots.
This new device allows the vibration applied to fruit trees to be controlled in order to maximize the detached fruit while minimizing the damage caused to the tree. Furthermore, the device of the invention identifies each tree and stores a series of tree parameters that allow the farmer to know its evolution in a much deeper way.
Advantages
The device is a plug and play system that can automate existing products. The main advantages of this system are:
- Modular system that can be installed in existing devices.
- Optimization of the process for each tree, obtaining an improvement in the time and harvesting of the fruit while avoiding possible damages due to a poor execution of the process.
- Offers information derived from the data collected by the system. Management based on Big data. The farmer can generate a representative history of the tree's evolution in order to gain a deeper understanding of the variables that may affect its cultivation.
Uses and Applications
The present invention belongs generally to the field of agriculture, and more particularly to the devices used for the vibration of fruit trees with the purpose of detaching the fruit from them.
