INTEGRATED REALITY GLASSES

Description

First was virtual reality, which showed a virtual world generated by the computer. Then augmented reality, which added information to the captured reality. Now we speak of integrated reality, which interprets captured reality and allows adding or removing elements of it (visual and sound) to integrate it with the reality generated by the computer, and thus form the integrated reality that the subject will perceive.
The new device corresponds to glasses that consist of two high-resolution front cameras, and two other side cameras, one on each side, thus achieving an almost complete vision (about 350 °) around the subject. The glasses also incorporate microphones to receive ambient sound from each side, and two lower ones in charge of receiving what the wearer of the glasses says, as well as headphones, one on each side. It also has two infrared cameras to follow the saccades of the eyes. It also has a switch located at the top, and a connector at the bottom to charge the internal batteries.
Internally, in addition to the high-resolution screens already mentioned, it has a central processor and several dedicated to the real-time interpretation of the subject's environment captured by the different cameras and microphones.
In addition to the aforementioned battery, it would have GPS location, high-speed wireless connections, as well as gyroscopes and a compass, all electronic. It would use any mobile device as an interface, and could even use the computing power of that device as an aid if needed. All these functions would be controlled and coordinated by the aforementioned central processor.

Advantages

These glasses have the following advantages:
- It performs a real-time processing of the incoming sound to offer it to the wearer with the appropriate modifications to the integrated reality.
- The two front cameras capture what the subject would see without the glasses, for real-time processing to form integrated reality.
- The two side chambers allow the subject's entire environment to be processed before it can turn, so that the response to the processing is perceived as immediate. It also allows to warn the subject in case of need of an event that is out of his vision.
- Knowing the saccades of the eyes allows the glasses to process in detail first the places the subject is looking at, and can also provide real-time information about what they are looking at.
- Verbal commands greatly expedite the use of glasses.
