OBJECT TRACKING SYSTEM FOR INVIDENTS
Description
Usually in homes where a blind person resides, the orientation and location of furniture and objects is based solely on routine, however, when several people live together, and some of them suffer from visual impairment, this mechanism can become quite ineffective. Thus, this invention consists of a support application for blind people, allowing adaptation to the home, since it combines the functions of identification, location and tracking of elements in a home using RFID. This new system uses a mobile RFID reader incorporated into a mobile device adapted for the blind, in order to locate areas and objects in the home. Furthermore, the invention offers several possibilities, such as activating an acoustic signaling system, or providing service to more than one blind person in the same home, being an economically more competitive solution compared to those existing in the market. The present invention solves the need to locate and identify household items for blind people.
Advantages
Among the advantages of this invention, we highlight: • The system offers an economically competitive solution. • The system can serve several users in the same household. • The system adapts to your own needs determined by a visual handicap. • The system enables an acoustic signaling system to be activated.
